On July 7, 2016, the Abramson Scholarship Foundation hosted a successful scholarship reception with 135 people in attendance – including Scholar alumni, many board members, founders and former board members, as well as a number of people who were new to the Foundation. The Foundation honored the nine new class of 2016 Abramson Scholars, along with continuing Scholars. Scholar speaker and recent graduate Nichelle Brunner impressed all with her poise and humor. All three of recent graduates – Nichelle, Danielle Bryant, and Hawi Keno – attended and announced that they are gainfully employed. A big thank you to DC Attorney General Karl Racine for speaking so eloquently about the importance of hard work, dedication, and education. Here are some photos from that special evening.
