Bria Gibson is an experienced manager, with a history of marketing and communications leadership roles at public and private institutions. Her comprehensive program management experience in communications, marketing and social media planning for Legacy Parking Corporate and Caesar’s Entertainment Group led to increased revenue generating results. Bria was responsible for both Corporation’s brand identity, marketing strategy as well as increasing awareness of the organization's work through special events. Her accomplishments include creating partnerships with key stakeholders, leading website redesigns and branding campaigns as well as media and social media trainings.
Prior to that, Bria was the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Art Institute in Phoenix Arizona. As an advocate for education, she was responsible for recruiting student prospects by generating leads through building relationships, attending national college fairs and community outreach events to attract prospective students. Bria was an enthusiastic representative of the college at campus open houses and high-school fairs. Through her personal approach to story-telling, she motivated underrepresented and marginalized graduating high school students in the Phoenix metro-area to pursue undergraduate education in the arts field. Working as part of cross-functional teams to cultivate, steward, and build a strong constituency base, Bria engaged with the local school district leadership, high school counselors, teachers and parents educating them on the benefits derived from an education at an Art Institution.
Bria is an enthusiastic supporter of equity and access in higher education and is excited about bringing more awareness and support for the needs of first-generation and non-traditional college students.
Bria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Culture from Indiana University. A consummate learner, she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Baltimore focusing on entrepreneurship and leadership development.
