Daniela Reyes is an educator, mentor, and advocate dedicated to expanding educational access and fostering student success. A first-generation college graduate from Lawrence, Massachusetts, she brings a deep commitment to equity and community-rooted mentorship to her role as Program Associate at the Abramson Scholarship Foundation.
Daniela’s passion for education is deeply personal. Growing up in a low-income Latino community, she benefited from strong mentorship through the Youth Development Organization, which helped her gain entry to boarding school, secure multiple summer academic opportunities at institutions such as Stanford and Yale, and receive a National QuestBridge Scholarship to Williams College. These experiences cultivated her belief in the transformative power of mentorship and inspired her to create similar opportunities for others.
Before joining ASF, Daniela served as a U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Italy, where she designed and led English language and cultural exchange lessons for more than 200 high school students. During her Fulbright, she was selected to represent the U.S.-Italy Fulbright ETA program at the 2025 ETA Enrichment Seminar in Luxembourg. She previously worked in the nonprofit sector as a Forest Foundation Fellow at CultureHouse in Boston, where she helped secure grant funding to expand educational opportunities for underrepresented youth in her community. In addition to her Fulbright and nonprofit experience, Daniela has held student-facing roles as a Teaching Assistant at Williams College and a Youth Programming Intern at the Youth Development Organization, where she designed arts-based curricula and facilitated leadership workshops for young educators.
Daniela earned her B.A. in Psychology and Studio Art from Williams College. A lifelong learner, she is an alum of several professional development programs, including Google’s BOLD Immersion Program, the Harvard Business School Summer Venture in Management Program, and the Prague Summer School’s program in Education. Outside of work, Daniela enjoys painting and exploring the DMV area.
