Anaia Peddie and Frank Fleming are the Abramson Scholarship Foundation’s most recent college graduates, and we are very proud of their accomplishments!
Frank (Hospitality) graduated from James Madison University, where he majored in Business Hospitality and Tourism. This past year, Frank completed several major projects including a prize-winning event-planning project that he and his team presented to the Professional Convention Management Association. Frank is currently working for a hotel in Harrisonburg, VA.
Anaia (Banneker) graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Spelman College where she majored in English and minored in Spanish. In the course of her college studies, Anaia spent one term in Granada, Spain and another as an exchange student at Sarah Lawrence College. During the summer of 2012, Anaia will be an intern in the District Leadership Program and, in the fall, she will be the clinic coordinator for the DC Employment Justice Center through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps.
