2006 Abramson Scholar Janeese Lewis, Mentor and intern in the chambers of the Honorable John McCabe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia

2006 Abramson Scholar Janeese Lewis (School Without Walls), is currently a second year law
student at Howard University School of Law, but her connection to the Abramson Scholarship Foundation continues. Janeese serves as a Mentor and is interning in the chambers of Abramson Board Member, the Honorable John McCabe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Abramson Scholar Yasmine Arrington will be honored by Black Entertainment Television (BET) on November 4, 2012

Yasmine Arrington, a 19-year-old native Washingtonian was recently selected as a 2012 Making a Difference (MAD) Girl by Black Girls Rock Incorporated and Black Entertainment Television (BET). The taping of the Black Girls Rock Show took place on Saturday, October 13th 2012 at the Leows Paradise Theater in New York City. This awards show will air Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 8pm on BET.
